I have two days left in Jerusalem before we leave for our reentry retreat. I hate saying goodbye to people and places...always afraid there were opportunities I never took advantage of or ones that I'll miss when I'm gone. Remember my dear friend, that no matter how many times we change cultures, each place has left a mark on us that changes how we then interact with our next place. Treat America almost as if it were a new culture you are entering, despite it being 'going back.' People around you may not fully understand, yet treat them with the patience and love you expressed for your friends this semester for they have not had the same experiences as you. I will have a cup of shai waiting for you.
